You know what comes with

receiving

Not holding onto

other things

I shave to live without magic
lacking some verve to be
like other people
So I then resort to cool
October mornings'
2.5 × 10²⁵ tiny wanderers
living between gold leaves
and my whispered breathing

This sunrise
I watch a battle
in my kitchen:
desire for cheese
against dislust
for doing dishes
And then I think -
make people smile
and if they don't
just leave them
to dissolve

I stand in front of you
naked
Ready to let go
no more protecting
myself
no less than willing
to fully dive

You might find things ridiculous
but if they make me happy
I'll breathe it all in
making my lungs even bigger
taking it even faster
until I've tickled myself
back into assertive freedom
With no room left for other
